DuoGrip Tractor Chains

I own a 1953 Ford NAA Golden Jubilee tractor. I had cross link chains last year on my tractor, and was hesitant that the DuoGrip wouldn't be as good as the V-Bar chains. I was mistaken. I made a point of driving the tractor through deep snow that I had trouble with last year with the old chains and there was no tire spin at all. HUGE improvement. I only rate 4 stars because the chains were shipped in 4 boxes, and I had to assemble each tire chain, and the chains still need to be shortened by a couple links but it does not affect traction in the least. to keep the chains tight I would recommend the spider bungees. I didn't get these thinking regular bungee cords will do just fine. Spider bungees would be easier to keep the chains tight. Overall good value for my money.

Build quality is excellent. 5 stars for that. Sure could use instructions to install the chains. That's a big miss. So 3 stars.

Bought these as I had read the various reviews and had issues with getting stuck in icy conditions when in a slope with my tractor. Ordered and received chains in good time. Had to check out a few videos on line as there were no instructions. Installed them and had to cut a few links to adjust the fit. Took tractor for a ride and it was very rough going...didn't think it would be so wobbly. Removed them in the short term and will try reinstalling them to see if I did something wrong...

Awesome product! Arrived 2 days early, fit perfectly and design allows for slightly bigger tire (3 extra 2" links). Jack up the tire and installed in 10 mins per tire.

These chains went on slick. I chained all 4 and including 3 smoke breaks it took two of us 2.25 hours. We sure didn't bust our backs doing it.

Good quality,I fell they are a bit over kill,take while to install and you must take time to get the tightist fit possible,to keep them from loosening and side slipping. The spider bands did not fit ,to small ,so instead I used single bungees,and was able to go through the wheel to get equal tension all the way around the tire. All in all a workable product , and strength, just take the time to install.

Hello unpacked the chains and put them on drove around and then recentred them my tractor is like a tank now very good quality chains well made

excellent product! the chains are very heavy duty and came with a few spare parts. Only 1 single chain link had to be flipped for a proper fit but otherwise the dimensions of the chains were perfect. Make sure you use some metal wires to lock all the clips and take you time to make it tight. I did not get a set of instructions with my product but installation is very easy to figure out. price was also great.

I love the product. I have the feeling I will never get stuck with my tractor again. My only negative comment relates to the lack of proper instructions to install the product. There is no video available where they use this specific product. I had to figure it out myself after trial and error. It was a pain because these chains are quite heavy.

Work fantastic! What i was looking for. There on a Kubota b20 working in the bush. I can now roll over small logs and branches plus the mud.

The chains arrived within 3 days. Great Loomis driver made it to the top of my long drive which I hadn’t cleared of snow because, of course, I was waiting for the chains. Perfect size. Quick and easy install. Good quality. Get the spiders.

The chains are excellent quality, the instructions made installation simple and they fit very well. The tractor (Ford 3000) now goes anywhere with blade or snow blower.

just received them and since it is summer have not had the need to use them, but these are obviously great quality, and Canadian Chains sent me the installation instructions which look to be very helpful

I bought the chains for my husband as a gift and he is very impressed. The chains were not put on because it is supposed to be spring but we are having a snow storm!!!, I guess Mother Nature didn’t get the memo.

Looks strong and well made, fit nice and snug on the tires, bungee straps are made strong. The shipping was not good, I received a 1 of 2 boxes on Tuesday and the second one on Friday.

I am pretty happy with the chains. The only complaint I may have is that the retaining clips will release if the chains are not tight enough and make sure the shackle pins are wired closed so they cant back out. I lost two in an hour during heavy plowing

It took us a couple of hours to install , as inside clearance was tight on a 2014 Kioti CK35, but rubber bungies did the job, and they haven’t moved since. The Clevis pins were too big for the clearance, so we had to buy flat joiners instead. The tractor no longer slides on hills, so we feel much safer. They certainly aren’t as smooth as a naked tire, but for our gravel road application, they are perfect.
