The Spider Bungee is used to keep your tire chains snug against your wheel and keeps the chain evenly distributed around your tire increasing traction.  Made of heavy duty rubber the bungee also extends the useable life of your tire chains by up to 40%.

This part is sold in pairs and is a one size fits all for passenger car tire chains. Approximate size is 13" in diameter.

Tire Cables
The cables worked well and do help to improve traction. But I found them a bit difficult to install - especially the INSIDE cable (on a passenger car where the wheel wells aren’t that big). You really need to get down and under the vehicle and get the inside cable very tight. I also found that the slot where the end of the cable secures into the fastener is a bit of a tight fit (especially when your fingers are cold!) The slot, after a couple of uses also tightens up even more because the strain on the cables while in use, tends to bend the fastener closing up the slot a bit more... A bit of filing should help fix this... I also found that the end ‘bump’ that is pressed on the end of cable pulled off on one of my cables.
